The Women's Imaging at Mercy is located adjacent to The Hoffberger Breast Center on the 5th floor of The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Center at Mercy. A full-service breast screening and diagnostic facility, Women's Imaging provides a skilled team of radiologists and highly trained technologists. Combined with state-of-the-art technology, this offers patients clinical excellence in breast care and diagnosis.

The Women's Imaging at Mercy is proud to offer leading-edge breast cancer detection technology using the Platinum Stereotactic Breast Imaging System. This equipment provides more precise testing results as well as enhanced patient comfort. If an abnormality is detected it is important to follow-up with a thorough evaluation which might include a diagnostic mammogram, a breast ultrasound, a biopsy, and/or a referral to a breast disease specialist in The Hoffberger Breast Center. This is the beginning of the staging process, where the doctor will determine the extent of the potential medical issue.

Most abnormalities are benign (non-cancerous), but early diagnosis is the key to survival. Our team of physicians and technologists along with our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment provides you with clinical expertise and continued support during this time of diagnosis and treatment.
