What should I bring to my appointment at The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction?
  • Insurance card or workers compensation information
  • New Patient Packet (office will mail to you upon scheduling an appointment if you are a new patient)
  • Previous related medical records (if you are a new patient) or a Medical Records Release Letter (if you are a previous patient of Dr. Myerson’s from Union Memorial)
  • Cash to utilize parking services

Some patients may receive two bills for their appointment, one for the physician and one for the facility. The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy offers convenient, onsite ancillary services, preventing patients from having to go off-site for various tests, examinations and procedures. Patients who see the physician and receive additional ancillary services, such as x-rays and casting, will receive two separate bills to reflect charges for both the physician visit and use of ancillary services.

I need to be fitted for an orthotic, brace or boot. Where should I go?

I am scheduled for surgery at Mercy. What do I need to know in order to prepare?

What can I expect after my surgery?

After surgery your doctor will give you a post-operative protocol, which will outline the recovery process for the specific procedure that has been performed.
