Orthopedics: Women's Orthopedic Program

The Women's Orthopedic Program is led by Board Certified orthopedic surgeon Kamala H. Littleton, M.D. Focusing on the hormonal, anatomical and biomechanical features of women that make them more susceptible to certain orthopedic injuries and diseases, the goal of this program is prevention, treatment and avoiding reoccurrence of conditions common to women. These conditions include ACL tears, arthritis, and osteoporosis fractures particularly of the wrist, spine, and hip.
