Hatem S. Abdo, M.D.

Hatem S. Abdo, M.D., Director of Central Maryland Neurosurgical Associates, LLC, is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Abdo earned his doctorate of medicine in 1971 from the Ain Shams Medical School in Cairo, Egypt following his graduation from London University in London, England. He received his medical professional training between 1971 and 1979 at University Hospital in Cairo, Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem, Franklin Square and University Hospitals in Baltimore, the National Hospital in London, and the University of Western Ontario in Ontario, Canada. His residency was completed in general surgery, surgery and neurological surgery.

Dr. Abdo specializes in treatment for pituitary gland tumors, herniated disks, carpal tunnel syndrome, brain tumors, aneurysms and lumbar spinal stenosis (the narrowing and hardening of the spinal column).

Charles Park, M.D.

Charles Park, M.D., is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he earned both his medical degree and Ph.D., as well as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. Dr. Park completed neurological surgery residencies at both the Northwestern McGraw Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Park specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon.

Charles Winters, M.D.

Charles Winters, M.D., completed his medical degree from the University of Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Masters of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Winters completed his Internship at the University of Virginia Commonwealth University where he also finished his residency in Neurosurgery. He has authored multiple articles and is very interested in artificial discs as well as minimally invasive spinal techniques. Dr. Winters is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon.
