Eye & Cosmetic Surgery

The Eye and Cosmetic Surgery Center at Mercy, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems and eye disease and offers an array of cosmetic treatments for the facial area. Led by ophthalmologic surgeon Sheri L. Rowen, M.D., the physician team includes Wendy Hecht Bohner, M.D., Benjamin Rubin, M.D., and Lisa Schocket, M.D. Utilizing state-of-the-art surgical techniques and equipment, Dr. Rowen and her team provide evaluation and treatment for eye problems including cataracts (“instant vision” surgery and premier lenses to also correct near vision), glaucoma, diabetes, plaquinal therapy screening, routine eye exams and laser vision correction (LASIK surgery). Dr. Rowen also performs a variety of cosmetic procedures including, upper and lower lid blephoraplasty, Erbium and CO2 laser resurfacing, Xanthelasma removal (plaque that forms around the eye), Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Fraxel II for non-invasive skin rejuvenation, IPL, spider vein treatment, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, and Obagi Nu-Derm skin care.
