Outpatient Chemotherapy

Outpatient Chemotherapy at Mercy
is an integral part of the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment in The Institute for Cancer Care at Mercy. An expert nursing staff works in tandem with medical, gynecologic and surgical oncologists to provide comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of cancers.

With access to clinical trials as well as The Center for Prevention and Research at Mercy, nurses are able to provide patients care in a warm, comfortable and state-of-the-art setting. The clinical team addresses the holistic health of the patient and works closely with Mercy's counseling group, pastoral care and social work team.

Nurses in Mercy's Outpatient Chemotherapy Unit are required to attend ongoing educational seminars to stay abreast of the latest advances in chemotherapy treatments. Nurses on staff hold nationally recognized certifications in oncology.
